Deepak, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. At present, most of the universities/institutes do not offer courses in genetic engineering as a separate discipline, but as a subsidiary to biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry streams. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biotechnology offer specialisation in genetic engineering. After Plus Two, you can gain admission for B.Tech. in Genetic Engineering/Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering through an entrance test. Another option is to undergo three-year BSc degree course in Genetics / Biological Science / Life Science / Biotechnology subjects and then go for post graduation in genetics. Only SRM Institute of Science and Technology (www.srmuniv.ac.in) has introduced a four-year B.Tech. course in Genetic Engineering on the Ramapuram campus. Those who have passed 10 + 2 / equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks in biology, physics and chemistry are eligible for admission. Selection is based on an all-India level entrance test. Selection to the graduate courses (BE / B.Tech) is based on merit i.e the marks secured in the final exams of 10+2 and through entrance exams. University of Pune offers M.Sc Biotechnology with genetics as an subject. The admission is on the basis of a Combined Entrance Examination conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Step 3: Earn a Bachelor's Degree in Astrophysics
Step 4: Get Involved in Research
The eligibility required to do Astrophysics is that the candidate must be a pass in higher secondary school certificate exam. The candidate must have physics and mathematics in his higher secondary studies. The eligibility percentage depends on the institute applying for, the minimum being 50%.
