Yes, the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 was conducted in three shifts:
  • Shift 1: 8:30 AM–10:30 AM
  • Shift 2: 12:30 PM–2:30 PM
  • Shift 3: 4:30 PM–6:30 PM
The CAT exam was held on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Each shift lasted for two hours. The timings were chosen to accommodate many test-takers.

SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to CAT exam pattern, but SRCC GBO exam is less difficult. SRCC GBO exam has 160 MCQs that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 4 sections, Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and for every incorrect answer, candidates will be given -1 mark.
CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. It has 3 sections: VARC, DILR and Quantitative ability.
CAT is a much more difficult MBA exam than SRCC GBO. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes

CAT mock tests are a replica of the actual CAT exam. It is so because the purpose of the mock test is to prepare the candidate for a speed based test which requires quick decision making and quick calculation with 100 per cent accuracy. The Quantitative Aptitude section of CAT is the third and the last section of the question paper. It has 22 questions and the total marks is 66. This section of the CAT exam is usually dominated by Arithmetic and Algebra. Most of the questions out of 22 are asked from these two topics. The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section of the CAT exam has 24 questions. This section has the maximum weightage. 24 questions carry 72 marks. The major part of this section is dominated by Reading Comprehension. It covers about 14-16 questions through 4-5 passages.
