CAT cutoff depends on colleges. Like IIMs never take below 99.98%. Baby IIMs do not take below 96%. Previous year's average was 84%. Above this score, there would have been a possibility of getting calls.

If opting for working, you need to maintain a fine balance between job and studies and ensure neither of them gets affected. If taking a drop, pursuing an internship, doing certification courses are some ways in utilizing the time well. Good luck.

Hello Govind,
All the MBA colleges allot admission based on open test scores. Therefore, you will have to give an entrance test to get admission into a good MBA college that will guarantee your placement. No B-school can guarantee placement. Even if some B-school is promising it, then it's a marketing gimmick. If you want a good placement, you are advised to appear for CAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
