There are three sections in CAT, so I will tell you section wise.
Reading Comprehension
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power and also to boost your current affair knowledge. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis. DI is one of the toughest section especially from previous 2-3 years. As per your score in JEE Mains exam, you can't get admission in computer science engineering in any NIT. You should go for private colleges like Amity University, Sharda University, Lovely Professional University, LNCT Bhopal, Techno India Kolkata, etc. You can also predict other possible colleges here:

Yes, CAT scores are accepted by the maximum number of colleges across India for their MBA admissions. So, with a good CAT and MAT score, you can surely enhance your chances of getting admission.

There are other entrance exams too which are considered by the various B-schools, apart from the CAT for their respective executive MBA courses. You can check them out on their official websites for more details.
