Select any UK universities. For example, Heriot-Watt University, Middlesex University. Apply for courses in management. Most of these universities will not accept MBA without experience. That is why I am suggesting you take up management courses like supply chain management.

Dear Satish!
If you analysis, the students from all backgrounds appear in CAT and qualify too. Which means, the syllabus of CAT-GMAT is such that any students (regardless of his stream) can score marks in CAT. Hence there is nothing like important subject. Syllabus consist of two section: qualitative (checks your English, GK, comprehensive analyst etc. ). And quantitative (for your numerical and aptitude test, data interpretation etc. ). .

Hi Sarthak, I would be helpful if you provide with your percentile to us. This would help us to guide you or let you know as to which college you can apply. Note that admissions for PGDM are already on the verge of completion and have been completed in many colleges. You can now try for MS. Please provide with your percentile. Good Luck!

Quants is a subject would ask you for your patience and hardwork. The only and the best way to prepare is to practice as much as you can. Try solving past papers and also give number of online mock test. Google out shortcuts for certain chapters. I would say along with hard work you would need to work smartly. Try figuring out which chapters has the highest weightage and focus more on the same and practice more sums. Practicing more and more would not only help you increase your speed but also would help you to boost your confidence along with it. Keep a target w. r. t. time and try solving those number of sums within the tim

With 84 percentile, you may not be able to get into IRMA. However, since admissions are based on the merit, there may be chances that students with a score better than yours don't choose IRMA and luck may knock your door.

You can start preparing for CAT from the next academic year. Usually, CAT exam takes place in October-December so you have good 4 months to prepare for CAT. Since you will have a lot of time at your disposal, I would also advise you to join some short-time certification course in the area of your liking as it will help you later in your career.

It is not necessary to take additional maths but you should take additional maths as it will benefit in future. There are many colleges in India where maths is compulsory as one of the subjects in HSC.

I would advise you to take a mock test before start preparing for CAT. This mock test helps you to determine the level at you are from where you need to start learning. However, the best time to start preparing for the CAT-GMAT is after the 3rd semester (provided how much time did you need). Being a physics student, the quantitative section could be easier for you. So put more stress on qualitative section also.
