The candidate must satisfy the below specified criteria's:
1. Hold a Bachelors Degree, with no less than 50% or equal CGPA (45% if there should arise an occurrence of the aspirants having a place with Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and persons with disability (PWD)/Differently Able (DA) classification)

Yes you can get admission in UIAMS which is not a good department as UBS. But yes for that you also have to give their own exam.

Actually not, but there are some differences in pattern of exam the level of CAT exam is higher than the level of SSC CGL exam. CAT is more concept worthy examination where are in the SSC CGL speed of your problem solving matters as there are less time. And there are the GK portion too in the SSC CGL which are not in the CAT exam.

As per AIMK guidelines 50 percentile is criteria for army category students and 70 percentile for general category students in CAT but students who have scored less applies as well and in most of the cases get selected for further process. People are generally judged on the basis of GD and PI regardless of your percentile.
So I would suggest that you can go for it as the chances are equally high.

If you want to study in India then go for CAT as if you clear this exam with high percentile, you might get into IIMs which is considered the best college for MBA in India.
