1.The foremost thing that you need to choose is whether to go for coaching or to take self preparation. If you have decided to prepare by own take the help of a consultant.

CAT (Common Admission Test) is mainly a computer-based exam started by the IIM institute. Therefore, when you attend IIM and if you have the required scores, IIMs would possibly invite you to apply in their institute.
