There are various reputed B-schools you can get into without appearing for the CAT exam. Those are:-
1. JBIMS, NMIMS, TISS, SIMSREE, SP Jain-Mumbai
2. XLRI-Jamshedpur
3. IIFT-Kolkata and New Delhi
4. SIBM, SCMHRD-Pune

I doubt it because the minimum percentage should be above 50 to 60+ % for CAT, you can appear for MAT exam and pursue MBA though.

Start with the basic things and slowly move to the advanced level. If you are good in maths then first go for it because it's always better to strengthen your strength first at least when you have such a short span of time and then you can move to your weaker sections. Hi,
CAT (Common Admission Test) is mainly a computer-based exam started by the IIM institute. Therefore, when you attend IIM and if you have the required scores, IIMs would possibly invite you to apply in their institute.
However, there are many other educational institutes that accept CAT scores. In order to get admission in these institutes other than IIMs, you need to apply separately through their online portals or using their application forms.
