1) Profile Based Calls - Here they call you based on your profile as CAT results are not out by that time. However, the criteria here is that you need a minimum of 85 percentile overall and a sectional of 70 percentile in all sections, else your call becomes invalid. Also, you can get a call based on the GMAT score for which the minimum percentile required is 650.
For profile based calls, SPJIMR closely observes your academics, achievements, extra-curricular activities and relevant work experience.
Now for profile based, even though the cut-off is 85 percentile for CAT, selections are possible only with a 9

Yes, definitely if you have 50% and above, you can clear the tricky CAT as a science student. Start practicing probability and permutation combination from today from 11/12th books and online math portal. Also, download the Hindu editorial app to boost your CAT vocabulary.
