To get into top B-Schools, you must score at least 85 percentile. IIMs cut-off is around 97-98 percentile. Your score is on lower end as you must try this year to improve your score.

Hi,
It is difficult to gain admission without work experience but if you have an outstanding profile with excellent academic grades and all rounder profile then chances could be there. The decision will totally depend on the university admission selectivity and how strong your profile is.

MAT exam will be held in month of May. If you score decent marks, you can get good colleges with better placements. You have 3 months for the preparation.
Best of luck.

Dear Chetna,
I would suggest you to give CMAT too in next time, because in case of low percentile, you have no problem to get admission as you are here a welcomed customer who is investing huge, but you get the college of this percentage. Generally, they have those company in hand where sustainability is very low. They have yearly bulk hire and fire strategy. So, try to do better in XAT to ensure a sustainable job profile with good in hand salary (check in hand salary not the CTC, be clever), feel free to write me.
Regards,
Subhajit

Hi Vikasmani,
Both the exams are tough but difficulty level of CAT is greater than SBI PO exam on the other hand competition level in SBI PO exam is way more than CAT.
So, both of them are difficult in their own way.
