Mathematics:

What you should do to score the best in this subject is, memorize each and every formula, practice as many questions as you can and follow this order if you're taking Std. Mathematics: NCERT>R S Aggarwal>R D Sharma and Exemplar side by side. For Basic Math, NCERT and R S Aggarwal would suffice. Solve PYQs and Sample Papers after setting the timer because time management is an extremely important factor in the exam temperament.

Science:

Let me divide this to three parts:

• Physics: Read NCERT first. Then move on to any other book.  Practice the Ray Diagrams from the chapter on Light. The theory portion from Human Eye is very important. Electricity and Magnetism are comparatively easier topics and all you should be doing is practicing enough questions. Focus more on the theory.
• Chemistry: Be thorough with your teacher's notes. And if you don't find them to be enough, make your own notes. Write the reactions. Know how to balance them. And do not ignore the last chapter of Organic Chemistry! It's a conceptual chapter and requires a good understanding.
• Biology: Always emphasize on reading NCERT. But for biology, the NCERT book seems complex. You should rather focus on making class notes and following a side book. Also, keep revising the theory from time to time. 

Social Science:

Being a theoretical subject completely, one should always write in order to memorize things faster. Because in doing so, the fingers learn too! For this subject, you should know the important points w.r.t every topic and elaborate in points when asked in the exam. For Economics, uou should only be thorough with the book and know how to brief any topic that the teachers frame in the exam.
