10th and 12th standard marks have started getting weightage in FMS admission process from this year onwards. The extent of effect this may have is yet to be known since this is the first time that it is being implemented.

After X, you have to select one among the following three streams; Arts, Science & Commerce.
All these streams lead towards different career scopes.
Science: This is the most chosen field for 10+2 education and it offers many lucrative careers including medical and engineering.
Arts: It holds many exciting career opportunities like social works, teaching, journalism, literature and many more.
Commerce: It leads to the highest paying and respectable jobs like company secretaries, accounts, investment banking and financial advisor, etc.
Looking forward your interest area, make a wiser decision regarding your career.

Also, extra points are given to non-engineers (academic diversity) and for gender diversity. My take on this would be that past is already written and there is nothing you can do to change it. Your aim ideally should be to score as much as possible and not restrict yourse
