According to most students, ICSE checking is very lenient. Many students, on a QnA platform have shared that students always score 4–5% more that they would expect. According to an ICSE student Ash, "Before getting the result I was expecting 85–88% but I was happy to find out that I scored 90+. Though I’ll admit SST and English literature checking is not that lenient, because the papers are very easy. So don’t fear, just give your 100% and you’ll easily score 90+ in ICSE."
Students are advised to maintain focus and finish their ICSE syllabus and know the exam pattern. They must also solve the ICSE sa

In case the details mentioned in your CBSE Class 10 result 2026 aren't correct, you have to contact the school officials and get them corrected. It is important to have correct details in your result, marksheet and other papers as these are important papers and will be checked at the stage of admission for higher education. Colleges/universities and other institutes will not allow admission in case of incorrect details.

Marking done by CBSE is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.
Thus, students must not worry about the strict/lenient checking by the evaluators and focus on completing their syllabus and ensuring that their preparataion strategy is on point so that they do not have to worry about the checking.

In case you feel that you should have been awarded higher marks in a subject, you can apply for revaluation or rechecking of the paper. The marks awarded after the rechecking/reval shall be considered the final marks and a new marksheet will be issued to you thereafter.

The CBSE Board exams 2024 have begun already. You must start revising for your upcoming exam now. Sit and relax. Wake up early and start revising the core concepts. Study for half an hour and take five minutes break. This can be repeated 5-6 times to finish revision of major chapters. During the 5 min break, listen to music, chat with someone, do whatever you like except surfing on social media.
Take regular and small meals, do light exercises, and this shall help you stay happy and let you prepare for the exams without causing anxiety. All the best!
