The UP Board allots 70 marks for theory exams. On the other hand, 30 marks are allotted for practical examinations. Students are required to obtain at least 33 marks in aggregate in each subject to pass the exam. Students failing to obtain minimum required marks in the exam will fail in the exam. However, the board has provision to give grace marks to those students who fail in any subject with maximum two marks. Such students are given a maximum of two marks and are passed in the exam.

For a better idea on UPMSP 10th pattern, students must practice the official UP Board class 10 sample paper. UP Board conducts the UPMSP class 10 board exam in two mediums, Hindi and English. Students can opt to write answers in the exam in any of these two mediam. However, students must decide their prefered medium in the begining of their exam preparation. This is how they can perfom well in the exam.

Firstly, students must check the details mentioned on the mark sheet. In case they find any discrepancy, it must be reported to the the school or board. Thereafter, candidates must collect the original mark sheet from their respctive schools.

Yes, you will be eligible to avail admission to BA B.Ed if you have completed your 10th from the UP board and 12th from the Ajmer board. Usually, the eligibility criteria involves a minimum aggregade from recognised board. Thus, a change in your board won't pose a threat to your admission.

The passing marks for the NIOS 10th exam are the same as NIOS 12th exams:

  • A minimum of 33% marks in the aggregate (Theory + Practicals where applicable) for all subjects combined.
  • A minimum of 33% marks separately in both theory and practical parts of a subject that has both components.
