As per NCERT, An amplifier increases the amplitude of the input signal and gives out an amplified output. The transistor works as amplifier in the active region of transfer characteristics curve.
An oscillator makes use of capacitor-inductor pair to power the amplifier.
Now the main difference is that an external output has to be supplied to the amplifier for it to work. Whereas, in case of oscillator you need not supply external signal. The oscillator takes a portion of output signal from amplifier and use it as input to amplifier through the capacitor-inductor pair.

Aditya! You have two major options if you want to go for engineering go for a diploma in engineering and then take lateral entry (directly in second year)in BE/B.Tech courses in reputed colleges like
IERT,
Lovely Professional University
State Diploma colleges etc.
Or else if you are not interested in engineering you may want to do ITI from some good institute.
There are several specialized certification courses available in different fields but job prospects are not very good.
