West Bengal Board is strictly against the practise of using any unfair means during the examinations. The board is actively working to prevent and discourage any malpractice during board examinations every year.

So, you are advised to go through the WB 10th syllabus and solve as many previous years question papers and sample papers to avoid cheating during the WBBSE Madhyamik board exams.

While preparing CGBSE class 10 study time table, divide the whole day into sessions. Students should give more time to difficult subjects/topics. They should also keep some time for revision pof the syllabus and solving the model paper.

Each subject usually has a mix of 20-25% objective questions, 30-40% short answer questions, and 30-40% long answer questions. The number of questions may vary slightly from subject to subject. For example, in Science, there are questions based on experiments and diagrams too. Knowing this division helps students give the right amount of time to each type during preparation. Model papers provide the best idea about this.

CGBSE sometimes removes certain topics to reduce pressure on students. For 2026 exams, so far, the board has not shortened or deleted any topics in any subject. In case the board made any change in the syllabus, we will update the same here. The updated list of deleted topics will be available on the official website or through school notifications. Students should make sure they study only the topics included in the current syllabus. Avoid preparing chapters that are officially removed.
