It depends on from which category you are. If you are from non-creamy layer then, it would be sufficient other you have to achieve at least 50%.

Yes, you can purse Diploma and class 12th regularly. But, this can effect on both Diploma and class 12th. Therefore, I would suggest you please chose one thing. If I would be at your place, then I will choose class 12th, because after class 12th many opportunities are available.

For general category (or unreserved category), you need to have at least 75 percent and for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC etc. , you need to have at least 65 percent in board exams to get admission through JoSAA.
