Curriculum

Yes, the MBBS course offered by Jamia Hamdard University is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Jamia Hamdard admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. National Testing Agency will commence CUET 2026 registration in first week of March. Soon after the release of the CUET notification candidates candidates can check the important dates pertaining to CUET 2026. The application fee has to be paid in an online mode via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI. 

NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM (IST). NTA conducted the exam in 571 cities across India and abroad. Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to tough. NEET is a paper-pencil based test (PBT) consisting of a total of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores. 

Jamia Hamdard University BSc course fee is cumulative of various components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. These components are one-time chargeable or have to be paid annually/semesterly. The course tuition fee ranges between INR 3.3 Lacs - INR 4.2 lakh, one-time fee is INR 18,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 70,700 and INR 2.46 lakh.

Yes, Jamia Hamdard University offers BA programme at the UG level. The university offer BA general, BA (Hons), and BA integrated course with LLB. Hence, the course duration ranges from three to five years. Candidates can apply for the desired BA course through the university official website. There are a total of 350 seats for BA at Jamia Hamdard University. Out of which, 290 are at the main campus and 60 at the Kannur campus.
