Say, Engineering (electronics, computer Science, electrical, instrumentation, telecommunication, mechanical engineering are a few subjects to mention); Bachelors of Science across physics, mathematics, chemistry, agriculture, Bachelors in business administration and computer applications are alternate options too.

Bachelors in business administration and computer applications are alternate options too.

If you have cleared entrance exams too, then medicine will indeed be a good option. Alternately, you can do Bachelors in bio bioinformatics and bio technology. Combinations of subjects like Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics, agriculture etc. can pursued in Bachelor of sciences.

Your academic performance is definitely above the minimum cutoff specified by IIMs. Hence, you are definitely eligible for admission in IIMs. However, you will have to write CAT and do really really well in CAT. With this score, you would not get an advantage of being in top 10 percentile based on prior academic performance. Hence you will have to be in top 0.5% of all CAT applicants. If you manage to achieve that, you stand a decent chance to get into IIM. So, complete your graduation and prepare for CAT and score well in CAT 98 or 99%tile.

No, there is no problem if you take one year gap but you need to justify the gap and also provide a gap certificate at the time of admission.

Please tell me in which stream she wants to take admission in. If she want medical course, then maths not required but in non-medical maths is required.

Yes, you can do PG Diploma after your B.Sc in biology and chemistry.

Percentage should be around 75%.
