Yes, some of the universities take the students who didn't have maths in 12th class but many don't. Also, if one wants to pursue BCA he/she should have had maths in 12th as without that it would be hard to do BCA.

Hi,
Low score can be an issue for engineering competitive exams like IITs, NITs and GFTIs because these required an aggregate of 75% or top 20 percentile of respective board. You may opt for improvement exams of respective board for improvement of your score.

Well, all the fields have their own scope and space of work and opportunities. Choose the area of specialisation you are interested in and good at. In my personal experience, I have seen how engineering is one of the really good and prosperous courses to pursue with good job offers and diverse career path. Alternately, you may consider Bachelors in science with subjects like chemistry, biology, mathematics, food technology, agriculture and biotechnology. Corporate and educational sectors; private and public sectors all of them open arms with job offers.

If you had taken up sciences in 10+2, then engineering or medicine or Bachelor of sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, biotechnology, IT, electronics etc. In various permutations and combinations of subjects) or even BCA. These are some obvious transitions.
