Yes, you can apply now also, but if your result does not meet the eligibility requirement you will be liable to be terminated. First, to be part of cabin crew industry, you need to fill basic requirements like:
Age-18 to 30 years
Height- 155 cm for female and 170 cm for male
Weight- According to height/BMI
No visible tattoo, scar, acne, blemishes, must possess valid passport, Aadhar card, pan card, 12th certificates, good eyesight, good medical condition
At interview, the recruiter see in a candidate for excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, positive and good body language, fluency in English and othe

First, to be part of cabin crew industry, you need to fill basic requirements like:
Age-18 to 30 years

As per the eligibility criteria of NITs, IITs, and GFTIs : The candidate must have obtained 75% aggregate marks in 10+2 or should be in to 20 percentile of 12th examination conducted by respective state board. Hence you are not eligible for admission in NITs.

Yes, you can pursue BAMS after completing class 12th
Eligibility:10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, & Biology as compulsory subjects, having obtained minimum 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. After completing the MCVC, you need to choose a future stream based on your interests and competencies. According to the MCVC scheme, the different groups include Engineering technology, commerce, agriculture, health and para medical services and home Science. So your brother can opt the courses according to his area of interest.
