You can opt for the course, but the school may ask you for a trial. The candidates with background would be preferred but this not a bar. Please read the notification properly to know about all the terms and conditions.

There are many courses that can be considered after 12th with commerce stream. Here, I am listing the most preferred ones that are considered as Best Courses after 12th Commerce:
- Bachelors in Economics
- Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
- Chartered Accountancy (CA)
- Company Secretary (CS)
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
Also, as you mentioned that you have working experience in sales then you can continue your career in that field as well.

It depends from college to college. But the cutoff for B.A. Economics goes about 98 to 99 % every year. Besides there may be entrance exams for which eligibility criteria can be only 45 to 55%.
