Hi Dear,
In my opinion, if you pass CCNA you have a good chance of becoming a field technician, say you have a good score in engineering degree and have none of these certifications, you can still end up as a programmer in good companies. These certifications are good to have, CCIE being one of the toughest and ranks higher in this ladder will even make you a designer for major networks that are the backbone of the internet. It is not necessary to acquire these certifications if you want to be a programmer (it is good to have them though). If you want to design a network, troubleshoot network, act as a consultant in a networking compan

Hello, You should be familiar with concepts of networking using Cisco routers and switches as well as subnets, and VLANs. The concepts are widely used through out the CCNA Sec course. The exam itself requires CCENT pass at the minimum to appear for CCNA Security exam. Other than this, there are no specific requirements for attending the CCNA Security exam. However, it is recommended to do CCNA R&S before preparing for CCNA Security as it would help you prepare well and also useful in career development. Hi Mayur, CCNA ICND1 and ICND2 the total course duration is for 50 hrs. If I assume the session is going to be regular on every day, and then calculate practice session. I don't find it's realistic the entire CCNA course will finish within a month. Even after 1 month CCNA without global certification without any prior experience in networking field ends up little difficult position to get a secure job even in India.

Hi,
CCNA and CCNP courses are relating to Network administration and manage. Whereas, CCIE is purely security oriented course. As far as benefit is concerned, all of these courses are in demand but CCIE has got better prospects.
From my practical experience, if you want to settle your career as a security professional still you need to have some knowledge of networking. Hence, I would suggest to go for CCNA first, you may move on CCIE.
