Central University of Kerala - Thiruvalla Campus offers two programs, L.L.M and Ph.D in L.L.M. Almost 80% of the students manage to get placed during the placement drives. The average salary offered to the students is INR 4.78 LPA and the highest salary offered is 10-15 LPA. The top recruiting bodies include; High Court, District Courts, and the Supreme Court. Apart from job offers, students are also offer internships during their course of study to gain practical experience before they start with their full time job.

It could be said that the Central University of Kerala – Thiruvalla Campus is in a Tier 2 tier. The first tier of institutions in Indian teaching context is recognised as IITs, NITs, and some of the best ranked Central Universities with very high national ranking, research infrastructure, global acknowledgement etc.
Although, Central University of Kerala provides decent education, better faculty members If we don't see it in top 100 repeating list of the national frameworks like NIRF. These include such areas as Social Sciences, Languages etc., offering strong academic base but with fewer publications and affiliations of Tier 1 univer

After completing LLM from Central University of Kerala, Thiruvalla one can pursue various jobs :

LLM and PhD in Law are the popular courses in the Thiruvalla campus.
The LLM course is of two year duration with four semesters.
LLM is offered in Administrative law, Constitutional law, criminal law, commercial law, environment law, public health law etc.
The department follows a choice based credit system. There are compulsory cures courses and electives as part of the syllabus. The faculty is also pretty good.

The Thiruvalla campus of Kerala Central University hosts the Department of Law. It is situated near the courts and is a two hour drive away from the High Court. It has a good faculty list with experienced professionals taking up the role. Six batches have completed their LLM programme up till 2021.
It offers LLM in Administration law, commercial law, environmental law, constitutional law etc. The campus is a normal building with three floors.

According to the official fee circular by the university's official website, the fee for LLM for the academic year 2024-25 is 30,000 in the first year and around 24,000 in the second year.
This fee is inclusive of tuition fee, professional development fund, placement assistance fee and course registration fee which is 400 per senester.
There are 4 semesters and together it's a two-year course

Admissions are done based on the rank list prepared from the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Results. The total number of seats is fifty. Furthermore, passing LLB is also a prerequisite for taking admission to the LLM programmes. Thus, one needs to clear all these conditions in order to be considered for admission here. The ease of selection will depend mainly on the rank attained in the entrance test.
