The selection process for Certificate courses at Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering, Sha-Shib Group of Institutions is through the national-level entrance exam: SSAT. It is conducted by the Sha-Shib Group. 

The official website says,” The Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test (SSAT) is a national-level common enrollment and scholarship exam for participating in an AME course at the top-ranked AME institutes under Sha-Shib Group that have received DGCA approval. The route for participating in the best AME course in India is to pass the SSAT 2024 Exam. Competent applicants with the highest ranks can get attractive scholarships from SSAT and Sha-Shib Group.”

If a student fulfils the minimum eligibility criteria then he or she can apply. The minimum Educational qualification is that the applicant must have passed the 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or university or they can apply even after completing the three-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Aeronautical engineering from a recognised board or university.

Plus, the applicant's age should be at least 14 years at the time of admission.
