Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysuru, is a state public university established in 1996. KSOU Mysore Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses have recently ventured into online education, offering a wide range of courses and degree programmes online. As an open university in Mysore, KSOU has its headquarters in Mysore along with 21 regional centres across the state.
Mysore Open University courses are offered through its 5 schools: the School of Humanities, the School of Social Sciences, the School of Commerce & Management, the School of Sciences, and the School of Education.
