You can pursue, you may get a degree too. To be very frank in the job market Sikkim Manipal or such institute has no value.
For government job, the respective body will ask to prove you got the degree got by appearing for exam in Sikkim in its campus only and if it is offered in strictly as per UGC order this university cannot sell even a 100 degree in a year.

In PGDM you will come to know more details about the different field.
Case study, seminars, industrial visit, practical knowledge, projects, guest speaker and many more in details and also along with the different professional courses like digital marketing, six sigma, advance excel, SAP etc.
Also some college visit for international tour for one month to London, Canada etc.
