Basically CGC and Chandigarh university are same but Chandigarh university have some edge as it is providing good faculty members, nice infrastructure, campus life and etc. Talking about pharmacy course, it is not very popular in Chandigarh university but they have very fine labs and course cirriculam. If you want to take admission first of all visit campus and visit labs and most important talk 2 your seniors, they can surely tell u truth that what is good and bad. Thankyou!

It is not a college where you will get a lot of luxury like huge playground, indoor courts and fields. But one thing is for sure, you will surely find some great athletes and players here. CGC is a very good place with positive environment and is best known for its placement. CGC is best college in north India. CGC have 2 colleges I. e 1 in landran and other in jhanjheri. In landran campus, there are 2 sub colleges I. e. CEC (CHANDIGARH ENGINEERING COLLEGE) and COE (COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING) and have many different branches like HOTEL MANAGEMENT, CHANDIGARH BUSINESS SCHOOL, PHARMACY, etc.

You should go for SD college in Chandigarh instead, it's the top college for commerce in Chandigarh and will be a better option than CGC.

The Chandigarh group of colleges, Jhanjeri Provides best education for CSE Branches in engineering. The faculty teaches the students well and will move in a friendly manner with the students. But the placements have an average pay scale of 4.2 LPA which is not a good score.

GMCH Chandigarh, being on the rise, has seen its cutoff go from 1k to now 350 ranks and above for general category.
The state quota for GMCH Chandigarh is now even more prestigious due to the stern eligibility rules. Students scoring above 570 have been given seats in MBBS via state quota.
