The first thing that you have to consider is the eligibility criteria. So, the very first process that you have to follow is to appear for the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) which is a mandatory step for taking admission to the Engineering programs at Chandigarh University. There is one more query if JEE Main is important for B.E. Mechanical Engineering. It is totally your choice. But CUCET is compulsory with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in qualifying examinations or up to 50000 rank in JEE.

Yes my friend, Chandigarh University is the best for pursuing Liberal Arts which I can tell you clearly as I am myself pursuing my studies in this program. Chandigarh University offers BA (Hons.) Liberal Arts programme and the programme gives you numerous career opportunities because in BA Liberal arts, you can choose one subject as a major but you will study some other subjects of other fields too as a minor subject.
