Chandigarh University is private institution, according to eligibility criteria, you need to score 50% marks in class 12th and they may take an admission test (just a formality).

It's a good fortune of your friend that she got a job. But getting a job only in Chandigarh is possible but could be delayed. It all depends on the situation prevailing when you will pass out after three years. But keeping in mind the fact if India's higher GDP, industrial production is bound to increase and with it the job opportunities.

Yes you can get admission in UIAMS which is not a good department as UBS. But yes for that you also have to give their own exam.
