Yes, yes campus is safe and secure for everyone be it Architecture or student of some other course or program. At the main GATE only there are 4 to 6 guards and near the main campus also there were 3-4 guards. The entry is also very strict as no one can enter without permission. The whole campus has CCTV cameras. The university has women cell which is run by a senior female teacher.  The cell takes care of all things related to women. If there is any issue, the Women's Cell helps. It also makes sure that there is an Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee. This committee looks after serious cases. Architecture jobs are not only in designing; they include project management, urban planning, interior design, research, and sustainability. Some students also start their own business or work with government projects. Companies notice students who have done internships and hands-on work. Packages can vary, and top recruiters sometimes offer between 4–8 LPA. So, while it depends on your work and practice, Architecture students generally have good placement o

This university is different when it comes to practical hands-on experience. Such practicals are organized by the presence of a community radio station running on FM through which students can enhance their hosting skills. Then again, there is such a sophisticated TV studio with PCR on campus where broadcast training is imparted. More than all that, they perform media stuff through their digital hub on the campus channel while creating newsletters and magazines. All this also keeps the students active through field visits and outdoor activities. During the last phase, students go for mandatory internships in industries and spend months

The Architecture school at Chandigarh University has students not only from India but also from many foreign nations. Countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Uganda, Italy, and Brazil are often seen in the student list. On an average, learners from around 10–15 countries join the department. This number keeps shifting with each admission season, but the presence of foreign students is always there. Such a classroom gives young architects a chance to share design knowledge across borders. It also makes them see how culture shapes construction. The department also connects with universities in Germany, Italy, UK, Canada, and Russia for exchange

The campus environment for Architecture students at Chandigarh University is really great.

The environment is built for open studios that allow a free flow of ideas and building up teamwork. Students participate in site visits, workshops, and design projects to observe the semblance of concepts in the real world. All of these, from material exploration to model-making, aid in the comprehension of space. Faculty members often guide these activities through seminars, FDPs, and talks that bring in a lot of new perspectives. The educational set-up connects well with the professional bodies from the same field offering exposure. Curric

The Architecture Department at the university has a less set perspective where willingly enquiring students could be supported in becoming architects. Just to cultivate their idea set, there are Acoustics, Electrical, Building Construction, and Carpentry Workshop facilities besides host of other real-world laboratories wherein students dig into the practical world of architecture. CEASER lab stitches itself towards an energy-efficient and sustainable design. Many elective courses- students taking industry certifications in GRIHA or ASHRAE and projects mentored by the faculty-assure hands-on and climbing higher in deeper technicals even
