Madras Institute of Technology comes under Anna University. So the campus is authorised to attend placements in Guindy campus of Anna University too. Now coming to the statistics, Accenture, Accolite, Air Watch, Amazon, Chronus, Citicorp, CTS, Flipkart, TCS, RBS and many others come to the campus for placements. Alright. I understand. I'd suggest Instrumentation and Control engineering. It has better placements and scope for higher studies as it's a developing field which is getting more and more prominent in the practical world. However, you really need to work hard if you take ICE. All the best :)
