The answer will depend from person to person. For some it may be chemical engineering while for some it will be biomedical. The answer depends on the person's interest and what he/she wants to do. So, it's a very open ended query. If you want to know what is best for you, know what you like and figure out.

If you are looking for a branch which is somewhat easy then go for information technology, electronics and communication or environment engineering.

Alright. I understand. I'd suggest Instrumentation and Control engineering. It has better placements and scope for higher studies as it's a developing field which is getting more and more prominent in the practical world. However, you really need to work hard if you take ICE. All the best :)
