Here's a clear breakdown:

Scholarships in Chemical Engineering.
1) CUCET Scholarship (Main and most significant)

According to CUCET (Chandigarh University Entrance Test).

Suitable to all B.E. programs, such as Chemical Engineering.-

Scholarship range:

Up to 100% tuition fee waiver

Example:

90–100 marks - 100% scholarship

80–90 - 40–50%

70–80 - 30–40%

60–70 - 20–30%

To do Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) at Chandigarh University once you have finished your 12 th with PCM the eligibility is very simple:

Basic Eligibility

You have to have graduated 10+2 (Class 12) of a recognised board.

Compulsory subjects:

Physics

Mathematics

And either one of the following:

Chemistry (the most common of the Chemical Engg)

IT / Biology / Computer Science/ Biotechnology Or.

Minimum marks:

At least 50% aggregate in 12th

 You are eligible to enroll in the subject due to your PCM.

 Admission Process

Admission is mainly based on:

The median package recorded during IIT Madras BTech Chemical Engineering placements 2025 was 17.4 LPA. M.Tech CH median package in 2025 was 15 LPA. in Dual Degree, the median package was 24.5 LPA.
