Sorry, but you can't get any branch in Jadavpur University if you don't belong to West Bengal. If you belong to West Bengal then also you can't get chemical but yes, you can get any other branch.

Hi Yukta, There is no chemical engineering course in MIT-Pune. It is offered in their sister branch at Alandi (AKA MIT AOE). In their main branch of Kothrud, Pune they offer petrochemical and petroleum engineering which is a very good option. RVCE is an ultimate college in terms of placements. Now, I guess there is no point of comparison if you are talking about the main branch of MIT-Pune. All the best.

If you are getting chemical at old iits I would say go for it. Old IITs (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Roorkee, Kharagpur, Guwahati), else compare each IIT placement and MNNIT placement then choose accordingly.

Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech chemical engineering. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basi
