The basic eligibility for admission in a bachelor degree in engineering is successfully completing higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, mathematics and chemistry. universities in India are not authorized to offer Distance BE courses after 2009 July 10. If you are only interested in Degree, go for AMIE. It is approved by MHRD. It is not that all the degrees are banned after 2009 through Distance Mode. Few people have limited knowledge on this. Do not fall pray of any advertisement or Article. Go for that and Enjoy your Valid degree. you can even apply for the Govt job after doing the course from this AMIE Calcutta.
