Hi,
As per the AITH and Govt norms, No fee will be paid by the SC/ST students at the time of admission. you needs to fill few reimbursement forms at the time of admission. the entire fee will be paid by the Social welfare department except few essential charges. However ever there are few restriction like the beneficiary income should not exceeds Rs 200000 per year.

Chemical engineering is the best. But, if you see for campus placement, if company come in your college, then petroleum is better, otherwise chemical engineering is best. Crack GATE go in PSU like ONGC IOCL HPCL BPCL etc.

It is a good choice. There are lot of scopes in chemical engineering in India. You see, from morning toothpaste till evening Mortin, all are chemical. Oil and Gas field are very Large scope for you. IOCL, ONGC, HPCL, BPCL etc.
