You can take admission in between May to july month. college consider the admission also in august but they will charge some amount as a late fine.

You have not write about the College/ University name for which information is required. However the eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Zoology is 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent. So students of PCM stream of 12th are not eligible for this course.

Yes you have the right combination of subjects to go for B.Sc. Food Technology which requires a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology or Food Processing as vocational subject) or equivalent. Try to pursue your course from a college which would give you the best career with good job and research facilities.
