Hello,
Eligibility criteria for M.Sc Chemistry for the University of Delhi is given below for an idea. There are two types of seats known as Merit and Entrance test seats. Eligibility criteria for merit seats is B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry from University of Delhi only with at least two papers of Mathematics with minimum of 60% of marks. While the eligibility criteria for entrance test seats at DU are as under:-

Hello,JEE Main eligibility criteria; Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects at class 12th level for admission in B.Tech/B.E in CSE/C. E. While anyone subject from the following as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subject. Most of the other Colleges/Institutions are following the similar subjects combination as prescribed by JEE Main. However, in few colleges Physics, Maths and English are the compulsory subjects for B.Tech CSE. Admissions. Thank you.

Yes, you can give a compartmental exam of both physics and chemistry exams. Student can give compartmental exam if he/she failed in either one or two subjects since you believe compartment in two subjects, so you can appear for the same.
