Basic eligibility for admission in Jadavpur University for B.Sc chemistry is that candidate must have cleared their class 12th examination with mandatory subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Candidate must have secured minimum 65% marks for General Category, 58.5% of marks for OBC Category, 48% of marks for SC and ST Category and 40% of marks for PWD Category in mandatory subjects. All three are equally good and once you are done with you M.Sc. In any of this three steams you can go for M Tech too mainly in chemical, biomedical or biotechnology engineering.
