The B.Sc chemistry graduates have many options for their higher studies. Majority of these graduates option for Masters degree in the same. But they can also choose various specialized areas in this field for the post graduation courses. Many universities offer the study of chemistry at post graduate and at doctoral levels. For joining M.Sc in chemistry or related discipline courses, they have to pursue B.Sc form any recognized universities with at least 55% marks. As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed:
Higher and Senior Secondary levels of education (classes X and XII) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
Graduation (B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the main subjects), with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, State or national-level entrance test for admission to the course.
