The selection process for MA English has 3 parts:
1) Skill Assessment - it consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning.
2) Personal interview
3) Assessment of past performance in X, XII and Degree ( if result awaited, marks available currently) during the Personal Interview.

Both are equally good institutes. Christ located in Bangalore and Nagarjuna University in Guntur. Christ University is a better-ranked college in Hotel and Tourism Management sphere than Acharya Nagarjuna University. Both the colleges have good placement record. Acharya Nagarjuna University claims 100% placement. ROI for Christ University is better than Nagarjuna University. Also, facilities in Christ University are better than the former. Christ University has a good team of faculties and an educational foreign trip for students is one of the attractive features of this course.

Department of Hotel Management, Christ University was set up in 1991. The official website informs that: The Department of Hotel Management has 11 full-time faculties, with relevant industry and teaching experience, the department has also put forth a Diploma course in wine studies which is the first of the kind in the country. Candidates are eligible to apply for admission in hotel management programmes on offer at Christ University if they have cleared the Karnataka PUC examination or its equivalent (ISC / CBSE / Others) (10+2) exam in any discipline.

If you have your 12th marks at the time of admission, you don't need your 11th marks. You just need to submit your 10th and 12th marks.
The 11th standard marks are needed only if you do not have your 12th marks at the time of admission.
