Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 46544 and closing rank was 58131 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 54238 and 65980. Admission to Civil Engineering in NIT Mizoram is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

placements comparison civil vs CSE at (IEC University B.Tech).

  1. there are dcent no of companies across the  board
  2. opprtinities are always better in techinical genres
  3. civil is comparitively lighter compared to CSE in normal studies if you have good knowledge in physics and alll
  4. the scope of placements are just better in CSE
  5. the avg You can get is about 6-7 in CSE
  6. for Civil the avg may drop drastically
  7. in civil its bit tough to touch 7-8 Lacs while in Cse its far more superiors
  8. depend  upon the spectrum of knowledge
  9. If you are interested in core branch then seek for civil it has loty more practical userbase

Yes, it is a good choice to pursue interior designing after the completion of a BTech in Civil Engineering. I would recommend LPU for the M. Design in Interior Design after BTech. The focus is to provide knowledge of professional design practices, processes, and intellectual property issues.
