While appearing for UPSC IAS prelims, you should ideally start from reading the syllabus of prelims and mains. Read NCERT for subjects like History, Geography and Economics to lay a good foundation. Reading The Hindu newspaper and Yojana magazine regularly make you stay aware to the current affairs. Refer M.Laxmikanth for Polity, and GC Leong for Geography. Practice writing answers regularly and focus on repetitive revision. Work hard and be consistent in your study/preparation. Suti.

February 2024 was the deadline for applying to the IAS exam in 2024. Candidates must maintain a watch on the official UPSC website for up-to-date dates since the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) usually establishes a deadline for applications. Applicants are recommended to apply long before the deadline to avoid any last-minute complications. The UPSC portal also offers regular information on application procedures and deadlines.

Yes, a post-basic BSc nursing degree holder is eligible to apply for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam. The eligibility criteria for the IAS exam primarily focus on educational qualifications, age limit, nationality, and other specified criteria, and they do not restrict candidates based on specific academic disciplines.

Having a background in Nursing can offer a unique perspective and expertise in healthcare-related issues, which can be advantageous in administrative roles related to health, public welfare, or governance.

No, the Union Public Service Commission does not mention the UPSC admit card release date in the official exam calendar. The Commission mention the tentative dates in the official notification of the exam.

The standard timeline for the release of the UPSC admit card is three weeks before the exam but the Commission can release the UPSC admit card anytime after the completion of application process.
