Analyse your status long before the examination and plan your schedule accordingly. When it comes to civil services exam, last minute preparations never work. Since civil services exam takes place every year, there is always a plenty of time to plan how many days you would want to allot for certain subjects.

There are many subjects and this is totally your choice in which subject you are good or by a hard labour you make it strong and complete the exams syllabus so choose a subject on your own.

General eligibility is that a candidate should hold a degree from any of the recognised universities or must have an equivalent qualification so any graduate can appear for this exam.

After graduation, you have a chance to appear for civil services exam conducted by the Central or state government. Mainly exam is conducted in 3 part i.e prelims, Mains and interview. For the preparation, try to make your general knowledge strong and choose one optional subject which is really good for you.

No, you have to be a graduate then only you can take this exam or you can take the exam which is of class 10th or 12th level.

It depends on you which course you want to pursue. If you have completed B.Tech then I suggest you to not to go with M.Tech, try to get a job or try to find in which field you can do good.
