It is unlikely that you can get admission to the mechanical engineering branch with 58.15% marks in Class 12 Science. The eligibility criteria for admission to most engineering colleges, including government-run NITs and IIITs, is a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 Science. So 58.15% would meet the basic eligibility.

However, many top engineering colleges have higher cut-offs, often around 85% or more, for admission to mechanical engineering and other popular branches. For example, Bethany ISC has an 85% cut-off for Commerce and 90% for Science and Humanities.

In some cases, it would be mandatory for the candidate to upload the class 12 certificate. If you've recently passed or appeared for the class 12 exam, chances are that the certificate has not yet been issued. In such cases, students might have the option to upload alternate documents as required. The candidate might be asked to submit the class 12 marksheet during the document verification process, so he or she must make sure that the marksheet is received before the particular process. Each candidate need to upload the mandatory and optional certificates based on their details given during registration.
