To get admission in any of the top engineering colleges, you have to appear for JEE Mains exam. Many universities conduct their own entrance exam and have separate counseling process.
You can visit https://Shiksha.com to check the admission process for the particular university.
All the best.

Hi,
Universities abroad offer scholarships to students on merit basis. Your academic grades, extracurricular activities, achievements and overall profile will be checked. There are also several organizations offering funds again on the merit basis. Here are some popular names:
Aga Khan Foundation
Inlaks Shivadasani Scholarship
USIEF Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships
Hornby Scholarship to study in the UK and Commonwealth Scholarship to name a few.

Hi Sakshi,
You need to shortlist a few colleges, check the admission requirements and apply. Study abroad is a wide term, you must know what to study and where. If you are interested in studying in US you must take the SAT or ACT. There are English language tests like TOEFL or IELTS too which needs to be taken for any foreign university. Apart from these tests, you must have good academic grades, the more competitive or top ranked the universities are, the more strict admission requirements will be. Check this
