If you feel like studying 12th one more year, then you can repeat. If you don't want to, then don't. Whats your aim ahead? If you are going in commerce line, then you can move ahead.

One way is to go for polytechnic and then take admission directly into second year of B.tech with computer science. Personally I would not recommend you to go for polytechnic. You better go for 12th and take admission into B.tech with CS.
