English proficiency tests are not mandatory for admission to the College of Central Florida. However, if students have given the tests they can submit STEP EIKEN, IELTS, and TOEFL, scores no older than 12 months. The minimum scores for tests are as follows:
- TOEFL- 61+
- IELTS- 5.5+
- STEP- Grade 2A
Students at the College of Central Florida take placement tests to assess their English proficiency. If they get the required result they will be eligible for a college degree and if not then they have to take English as a Second Language for Academic (EAP) Purposes classes provided by the college until language requirements have been met.

College of Central Florida costs an application fee of $30 (INR 2,518). The application fee is paid at the end of the application and it can be paid using credit cards online or by mailing international money order. Applicants will receive an email with their assigned CF ID numbers within two business days.
