Yes, you can get into the College of Engineering and Rural Technology for B.E./B.Tech without having JEE Main. Colleges take admission through other entrance exams like UPSEE level or directly based on Class 12 marks. The person should satisfy all the criteria, usually scoring a certain percentage in the qualifying exam. Therefore, JEE Main is only one mode for entry to this college though not the single mode for entering this college.

To get admission in B.E. / B.Tech course in the College of Engineering and Rural Technology, the applicant has to submit the following documents:
Mark sheet of Class - X (Madhyamik or equivalent)
Mark sheet of Class - XII, Higher Secondary or equivalent examination
Score card of any entrance exam (WBJEE or JEE Main. Apart from the above, a birth certificate or Class 10 admit card is required as a proof of date of birth. A transfer certificate would be required if applicable. A category certificate would also be required for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates.
