The total tuition fee for a four-year BTech course at the College of Engineering and Rural Technology ranges between INR 1. Lakhs to INR 2.54 Lakhs depending on the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The college offers six specialisations in BTech. Apart from this, the student may also need to pay some additional charges like hostel fee, application fee, admission fee, etc.

Hi.To be eligible for the B.Tech degree programme at College of Engineering & Rural Technology, Meerut, candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Admission is through counselling based on rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Vacant seats will be filled by the institute based on the rank obtained in JEE-Mains.

Hi.College of Engineering and Rural Technology Scholarships and Funding

If a student secure above 85% aggregate in his/her course without any back up to the fourth year in the academic session then his/her tuition fee will be refundable

If a student secure between 65% to 70% aggregate in his/her course without any back then his/her 50% tuition fee will be refundable.

Hi.Admission procedure in College of Engineering and Rural Technology for B.E. / B.Tech:

Counseling: The admission to bachelor degree program as per the rule & regulation of Uttar Pradesh University are made on the basis of UPSEE JEE

.Direct Admission: For Direct admission candidate must secure 45% marks in PCM in the case of GEN/OBC and 45% for SC/ST.

Lateral Entry: Diploma holders and B.Sc. (PCM) with 50% marks in the case of GEN/OBC and 45% for SC/ST are eligible for admission in B.Tech second year.

Hi.The admission process in the college is very easy and simple. If you are given an admission test for the college you have to choose the College of Engineering and rural technology in your counselling process and if this college is allotted for you then visit the college and submit your documents.

Application Procedure of College of Engineering and Rural Technology:

Collect the application form from the admission office in CERT

Fill the application form correctly.

Attach the required documents

Submit the application form Pay the fees either in Cash at the admission office or by DD

Hi.College of Engineering and Rural Technology JEE Main cutoff 2024 is now over for BTech, Integrated BTech, and BArch courses. For JEE Main, a total of five counselling rounds were conducted. Additionally, two CSAB counselling rounds were also conducted to fill the vacant seats. 

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most desirable course with a closing cutoff of 769411 among the students belonging to the General AI quota. 

The JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses is expected to be released in Nov 2024.
